What I've been working on!


I am working on version 1.1.0 of the gameplay test demo! but I'm in no rush to get it done...

In the meantime, here's some things I've been working on...

There's this little town...



...  which serves to introduce a few new features...



Such as the ability to farm fruit! this has been a sort of side-passion project within a passion project for me-- the idea is that you can plant fruit to get more fruit, but you can also crossbreed fruit to make hybrids-- with it's full potential, it'd be a fairly in-depth side mechanic that opens up lots of possibilities if you choose to engage with it.

Here's a short demonstration: (fruit growth times have been reduced here so i could show it off easier-- usually it takes a few minutes and varies depending on fruit type)


but there's something else!
you know that there are enemies with attributes, for instance Fungask has armor, and Volley is airborne? here's a new enemy type with a new attribute...


It's a little tough to understand what's going on here, so let me explain:
The Rot-Wieler here isn't doing regular damage, but Rot damage! Rot damage doesn't hurt you directly, but it stacks up and hurts you at the end of the turn-- then it will stick on each turn, subtracting 1 each time until you reach 0 rot or you cure it
Basically it's a twist on poison status effects-- if you accumulate 3 rot, you'll take 3 damage that turn, 2 damage the next, then 1 damage before it wears off. It can be very devastating if you aren't careful, like a ticking timer until your entire party is wiped out...

anyway, that's all for now... i plan to roll all of this out at the same time, along with some big bug fixes, some brand new bugs (probably), and other neat stuff.  thank you for the feedback and support, and please be patient as I work on this neat little game for you :>
